Chris Dingley

Originating from Bundaberg, Chris Dingley has always had a passion for music. This passion is backed up with the skills that come from years of hard work, passion and practice.

Chris’ engagement with music started in Year 3 through his school’s classical music program when he was handed a cello. At the same time, his interest in playing guitar had his parents enrol him in guitar lessons at a studio in town. Although he continued with cello through to year 12, completing both practical and theoretical AMEB examinations along the way, his love has always been for the guitar, and later on, singing and song writing. Chris takes inspiration form the Aussie Surf Rock scene, performing a mix of covers and his original music, with a growing emphasis on his original music. He performs regularly at various venues across the region and in music festivals wherever possible.

Chris is gaining traction in the industry with his recent inclusion in the line-up at the Agnes Blues, Roots and Rock Festival as well as through the original music he has been releasing over the streaming services. He is now studying to obtain a degree in music at USC.
